Angela Smyth

Angela is influenced by the vibrant colours and styles of the 1950s and
60s and her quirky view of life creates humourous, often touching images
that speak to people on many levels (and some are just a bit rude!) 

She paints the people and animals she sees in her home town, and then puts
them into unusual situations.  “I am a constant people watcher” she said, “and there is nothing I like better than sitting in a cafe and taking in the view - my mind wanders
everywhere!”.
